Micheal Sparks Design adds to the revitalization of the Manchester District, in the former industrial hub of Richmond, at their 205 Hull St. location. Sparks began his career over 30 years ago as an assistant designer for the high end eye wear designer Lugene Optical based in NYC. Inspired by his passion for design, he ventured out on his own to launch Artistic Eye, which specialized in luxury lifestyle products. After working in Europe as creative consultant for a number of British brands and as a freelance designer for LVMH and their Spanish brand Loewe, he returned to NYC and started Micheal Sparks Design. In 2010, Sparks relocated to Richmond and brought Micheal Sparks Design with a refreshed international focus on multimedia, branding and design. The firm visualizes concepts, including branding, photography, video and package design, to quickly and efficiently take the client to the next level. Also, located in the Manchester warehouse that Sparks renovated and designed, is MSDModern, which focusing on a collection of popular items from iconic mid-century modern designers that creates a medley of color, shape and a clean aesthetic.
