Mobelux’s recently released app for viewing Instagram on your Mac desktop has now made it into the Mac App Store where it is at the top of the charts for paid social apps. Click here to access the Apple site. Folks in the Corrugated Box building may recognize some of the Instagram/Mobleux users in the photo above.

Congratulations to Circle S Studio for their six awards, including Best in Category at the 2011 AIGA Grade Six Award Ceremony recently. As you can see, Circle S was thrilled about the honor.

Principals David Rau and Jay Hugo have been busy over the last few weeks speaking in front of area groups. Rau presented as part of  a panel put together by the GRACRE addressing the Richmond Canal and planned improvements there. Read more here.

Hugo introduced Julie Moir Messervy, a landscape designer and author, recently at Lewis Ginter Botanical Garden and will be introducing David Howard, former head gardener at Prince Charles’s home, Highgrove. Howard is presenting at the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts with proceeds benefiting the Capital Trees Initiative led by 3north and several chapters of the Garden Club of Virginia. The Central Virginia Chapter of the American Society of Media Photographers is hosting An Evening with Visual Communicator, Chris Clor at The Crittenden Studio. Info and registration at the ASMP site here. The Wednesday, May 11 event starts at 5:30 with a social hour followed by the program at 6:30.
