The 2nd annual Cheers to Art! event will be held Thursday, April 14, 2011 from 6-9:30 pm in the Massey Auditorium and Central Garden at Lewis Ginter. More than 100 extraordinary artworks available by silent auction—coupled with beer, wine, hors d’oeuvres and live entertainment—make Cheers to Art! a don’t-miss event!
After more than 26 years, Lewis Ginter’s role as a public garden is evolving. Last year, over 45,000 children between the ages of 3 and 12 participated in playful programs in the Children’s Garden. As this number …increases annually, they will need to expand our facilities to welcome them all. Proceeds from Cheers to Art! will benefit the enhancements and future improvements of the Children’s Garden, and help support the Garden’s mission to enlighten, inspire, engage and advocate for the improvement of our community.
Tickets are $40 in advance (purchase online) or $50 the night of at the door. Tickets include admission to the event, beer, wine and hors d’oeuvres, live entertainment and a pass to stroll the gardens.
Auction features local and regional artists works from modern and abstract to classic and functional pieces including paintings, pottery, jewelry, photography, sculpture and more!

Circle S Studio’s David Macintosh, is “hosting” the Second Annual Corrugated Box Building Official Oscar’s Pool–or, according to David: “CBBOOP…pronounced ‘ka-boop’ for the CBox newbies.”
