AIA’s Front Porch Event, Thursday, October 21
Jay Hugo, 3north principal, and current president of the Richmond Chapter of the American Institute of Architects, extends an invitation to the AIA’s 7th annual gathering of Richmond’s professional creative community for networking, dialogue, food, drink and music. This year’s focus is on the creative building profession and will be held at Moseley Architects in Scott’s Addition. RSVP and additional information is here.
Hull Street and Manchester Festival 2010, Saturday, October 23
The Hull Street Merchants Association is sponsoring the annual Hull Street and Manchester Festival 2010 on Saturday, October 23, 2010 from 11am to 6:00 PM. The festival will be held on Hull Street between 13th Street and Cowardin Avenue.
The festival will had plenty of fun, good and entertainment. It will also feature several live jazz bands, a fashion show, belly dancers and dancers and much more. There will be something or the kids as well that will include Ronald McDonald, McGruff, fingerprinting and face painting.
