The Society for Environmental Graphic Design (SEGD) has awarded 3north their coveted Merit Award for the graphic and environmental way-finding design at the Visual Arts Center of Richmond, which reopened in late 2007 after a major renovation by the firm. 3north’s graphic design effort was a collaboration between graphic designer Kyungwon Yoon and architect Jason Dufilho. Kyungwon Yoon will travel to the SEGD Conference in Austin, Texas in May 2008 to receive the award. www.segd.org
