David Rau, who refers to himself as “the architect of last resort,” and whose mantra “ye of little faith”  is well-known to colleagues and clients, goes to Las Vegas in May to host a seminar at the 2008 Hospitality Design Expo & Conference. David, whose design solutions are guided by the discovery and expression of a project’s intangible qualities (IQ), will present his first annual I.Q. Report on Authenticity and Value in Hospitality Design, discuss the recently completed renovation of the venerable Bedford Springs Resort, and lead the seminar through one of his slightly wacky, but eminently productive IQ Charrettes.
